Planning P

Follow the planning sequence from initial response through the next operational period. Select a stage for its purpose, timing, participants, inputs, outputs and an EOC example. Summaries draw on the O-305 At a Glance guides (2019).

Initial responsePlanning cycle

The course guides describe an all-hazards IMT. These examples apply the cycle to the Operational Area IMT working in the EOC: shelter support, damage assessment and supply delivery. Field command retains the fire response role. Use the actual assignment, authority and command arrangement for each activation.
